Since Coco mentioned their universe's Tawna in Crash 4, I'd like to think this is how she met her during her captivity in Cortex Island back in 1996. Coco's not a fan of Tawna dating her big brother.

Keep in mind that this takes place during the events of the first Crash Bandicoot game. Meaning Tawna was still in a relationship with Crash before she dumped him for Pinstripe after she got rescued by Crash himself. (I still don't ship Crawna)
