It may be late for Valentine's Day, but I just wanted an excuse to draw Sonic the Hedgehog and Blaze the Cat in a romantic setting. I think they work pretty well as a couple in my eyes.

While Sonic may have feelings for Amy, he's always busy to go out with her on a date. Plus, Amy herself is 12 years old. Also, while Blaze is mostly with Silver on certain occassions, she was more of a mentor to Silver if anything; helping him reshape the future of his world.
I think it's fair why Sonic and Blaze would work out more than they do with Amy and Silver respectively. Despite Blaze being stubborn and overprotective of her title as "princess", she has a strong sense of justice and will do anything to protect the Sol Emeralds from falling into the wrong hands. Similar to Sonic protecting the Chaos Emeralds from his arch-nemesis Dr. Eggman or other such adversaries.
It isn't canon... but I can dream, can't I? Who knows? I might make an AU where both Sonic and Blaze are in a relationship. Anyways, hope y'all like.
