Before Fluttershy meet Stellar she didn't believe she'd ever find love and have children so when Twilight and Cadence were looking volunteers for the baby potion project, she signed up. She meet Stellar when the other volunteers had started to cause trouble for Cadence. He was her case worker in being able to keep little Raspberry. (though she was in no real danger of having her baby taken. Twilight just sent him as a precautionary measure) She liked him and he did too. They started dating about that's about it for them lol.
