Genya is one of Mal's (Taisha the old Matriarch's mate) pups by another female from the clan. Taisha had an obsession with breeding the perfect soldiers so she has complete control over the clans mating and breeding. Genya is one of the results from back then. Before her father and his mate's death she was completely loyal to her father, Obeying all orders given. She loved and wanted his approval so she always trained hard and fought harder.
After their deaths she made it her life goal to see and keep Abasi (Taisha's son and heir, fathered by someone other than her own, Mal) as the rightful Matriarch.
