This was mainly a practice I did based on 's tutorial on Youtube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymCLSA…The Heavens Beneath -with video tutorial link-
She uses custom brushes in Photoshop and SAI, so I had to figure it out with Corel Painter Essentials 5. Especially the clouds, which I swirled by hand with the Distort brush. I notice now that I didn't quite get the right colors . . . It features my characters, Harmony (me) and Noah.
I've worked on this throughout the day, so maybe it took about 3-4 hours?

Harmony, this is easily one of my most favorite pieces from you yet it is absolutely BEYOND breathtaking! The colors you chose are rich and elegant and really make both the night sky above as well as the land below look incredibly elegant. I love how Harmony and Noah are positioned here- their stances are perfect and capture the awe that must be on their faces as they gaze off into this elegant scene that unfolds before their eyes. The belensing and shading is beyond perfect- especially. where Noah and Harmony are standing, and around the horizon. While the sky above them is just as impressive, I honestly sometimes think that there’s could have been a bit more pops of color, particularly bright blues, as well as to make the stars a bit more visible, but it’s not something that makes or breaks the piece. And it might be just me, but Noah’s legs look a little short, but once again, not all that important. There is just so much going on here and I am in total awe as I look at it. Like I said before, this piece is a delight for the eyes and it very easily has become one of my most favorite in your gallery. Keep up the astounding work.
