(( APPEARANCE:

Tall (like...6'0") and lean, could appear much stronger if they tried harder. He always buys and wears clothes that fit perfectly and look smart. His fringe always hangs over one eye and that doesn't seem to bother them. His nose is ever so slightly crooked (it's hard to notice) from having it broken three times. They often wear gloves and sometimes bandages underneath the gloves (their hands are covered in old scars).

PERSONALITY:

Hide is manipulative and mean, and his ability to be purely infuriating is going to get him killed, probably. He's very clever and sly, and can also be pretty charming if the situation requires it or he wants to be. He doesn't trust anyone other than himself and his boss (and half-trusts perhaps a couple of others) and is only loyal to those he trusts. A skilled interrogator, but not a very good fighter (he's learned to dodge well), he survives through his wits. If you need to double-cross, trick, or change someone's mind, Hide can do it.

BACKSTORY:

- Backstory is liable to change depending on who's asking and at what time.

Hide was born to an absent father and a distant mother; he was sent off to boarding school from the age of 6, until he disappeared from the records when he was 16.
A year later and he returns to the scene of Holdun, rises through the ranks of the Winter gang until reaching Advisor (at which point he stops bothering as terribly hard), but a year later and he goes up a rank to Underboss, where he happily remains.

- seems like a flirt but its basically never genuine
- has a lot of fun bothering people
- never keeps a consistent answer to questions about themselves
- actually has a soft side, somewhere (maybe?)
- doesn't open up to hardly anyone, and trusts even less people.
- learned to be very good at dodging infuriated and wild punches (a broken nose 3 times over is enough, thank you)
- waits patiently for every opportunity to attend balls and fancy parties and such (so much gossip and blackmail material)
- may or may not require sleep

PERSONALITY: Sneaky and spoiled, very good at slinking into places she's not meant to be and eavesdropping on people's conversations. She's also very good at playing innocent and making people pay attention to her. Doesn't let anyone other than Hide pick her up, but petting is okay. She's not got a good filter on her words, and will say whatever comes to mind through the telepathic link.

- cats can't smile, apparently, but Jackal comes close to doing it
- likes to wrap around Hide's neck or shoulders because 1) she's lazy and 2) better vantage point and 3) warm
