" After some time had passed, more esks arrived at the gathering, Vetru seemed to have left, possibly to look for more of the esks coming in.
Random winds had started to pick up.
One of the larger gusts had ashes flying around wildly and the scent of smoke ridden all over it, followed by a loud and rolling thunder.
Ajax from atop his rocky seat with the smaller esks spotted the cause, a horrifying mix of a thick storm and raging wildfire.
It seems others had also caught onto what was going on, fleeing in all directions.
A large group of esks rushed up the rocky hillside looking for some of the areas natives to help guide them out before the Firestorm had reached their area.
A small esk named Tarax was the first to find a burrow and help out a family of Pikas.
The rest of the esks followed in pursuit to get the families of rodents out of the area as fast as they could.
Ajax and his new acquaintances ran some carrying the weak and young on their backs, others helping to rush the other pikas on.
The elegant seafloor esks took up the back to help any of the stragglers return into the herd.
With the ravaging Firestorm on their heels they made a break for the edges of the plains.
Maybe when they get there they might find out whats going on. "
