A moment from the late 1960s. Downtown people, one resting to pass the time, another walking tall, with purpose.

This image stayed forgotten for a long time, for over 40 years, then left unfinished for another decade. Always passed over as I tried to accommodate the different elements into a crop that I found acceptable. It has now come together (see below for full frame).

Taken with a Zeiss Contarex with 55mm F1.4 Planar on Kodak Plus X 135mm film. I didn't know lawn chairs came with a rocking design.

Full negative. The problem was how much to contain, and how much to eliminate.
