hey! i was busy this morning...in fact, i started a new job!
but i hadn't uploaded anything new for a spell so before i hopped on public transit (parking in downtown Toronto is obscene...and not in a good pervy-kind of way) i took two renders, slapped them together in PS, and voilà!
what's new? well, all the interiors are done! yah for me. there are still some textures that have to be applied, namely because when you have over a thousand individual NURBS meshes, you tend to miss the odd dozen or so.
after that's done, it's setting up "studio lighting" rig for the ship; fill and bounce lights to soften the harsh edges of shadow and to tone down some of the reflection/gloss maps that sometimes crop up overblown with just one main light.
updates will be slower in coming, i am afraid, as the new position is one of those Monday to Friday gigs. as soon as i am allowed, i'll fill in the details.
