Old work from 2006! A few people thought this looked too much like Van Gogh's "Starry Night", but I tend to disagree. Either way, done in oils several years ago. The original is something like 16" x 20". New, bigger image is uploaded!Related content

I'm brand new, actually. Never been on DevArt before and I'm liking it so far! I'm trying to get a portfolio of work together on one site, so several people recommended Deviant Art.

Yeah, I've been on for a little over a month. It's a great place. Almost anything goes here, from the very beautiful to the very silly. If you're looking to make a real portfolio, DeviantART actually has a place to make an ads-free portfolio at no charge. To check it out, just go up to the drop-down menu by the button that says "deviantART" and then go to "Portfolio." I haven't actually tried it, but it looks cool.
