I was randomly doodling a sunset scene,then I happened to stumble across some really sad Pokemon Mystery Dungeon music...

Actually, I'm not all that good at backgrounds too ;w;
It just so happens that I find doing sunsets easier~ ( It's not exactly nice as well actually)
Maybe you can try to use references?
