Description
Commission Information | Social Media
In a realm of sentient arthropods, there wanders a female roach who, armed with a sidearm just in case an adventure goes south, offers useful and skillfully crafted wares to anyone she encounters. This character is a Rough Full Concept commission and was conceptualized and designed for the one and only Wastelandrat on Fur Affinity . I am always grateful to draw bug people, and with roaches being among my favorite arthropods, this project was 0% work and 100% enjoyable!

What a lovely gal. If it were not for all the spines I would be very tempted to hug this adorable bug. So much little detail!

I love those little invulnerable freaks. It's neat that they're so gregarious too. They have social structure and practice collective decision making. Hey, I'm glad you like the end result. <3

See now this is cute and interested. Real life roach would be smithereens after I spotted it.
Love the colors!

Have you seen their slender little faces? They're pretty cute, and shiny. :'O And they don't bite or sting. I look at them in the same way as mice and rats: super annoying pests, but kinda cool.

Them dubia roaches are scrumptious~ But hey, T's can't have all the spoils, as moth and wasps need pampering too. Oh, and I apologize in advance for my spider cousins massacring moths on a daily basis. *Cough.*

D&D could use more insectoid races. You bring up an interesting notion. :]

You got to respect and admire something so durable. They survive in all sorts of biomes, they're far more resistant to radiation than most creatures, they can survive for a very long time without food and so much more. researchers are using them for bioengineering.
