A tree downed in the June 27th windstorm that hit parts of eastern Nebraska. winds were clocked at around 150-160kph (just under 100mph) for most of the area. This tree is about 1/3 of a block from my house. The view to the north now has a lot of blue sky.photo copyright me. Please ask if you wish to use.

wow you had that storm too? Yeh i was in New Jersey and they had storm warnings while we were in the local bar and claiming that there was penny sized hail stones.
Luckilly it missed where we were but we heard the thunder O_O. It was so loud. And wow this looks really scary. How strong were the winds?

They were clocked around 150-160kph. the hail was also bad and piled up, some larger than golf balls. I'm so glad I took the civil defence sirens seriously as I was about 3 km from safety.

this one was in an ally, so the odds of anyone being their was slim. Now for the hundreds of other trees that came down those did take luck. Though sadly one tree across the river did kill two who took shelter in their vehicle.
