A pretty dang old piece this one. Started this about a year plus ago? Have been working on it on and off between projects and then I left it in storage for about 8 months so can't say how long I actually took on this.
Background story?.. futuristic battle ships VS an old civilization, basically Technology VS Mythology and such.
C and C are always welcomed and greatly appreciated!

I've so far seen of your gallery this piece and your tiger that got the Daily Deviation, and the angles just wow me. The leg of the tiger in the foreground, the not-quite-dragonback view here; they're such unconventional points of view that work so well, and of course your painting exhibits great skill, whether you're doing manga style or something more realistic like this. There are so many little details here--the light under the skin of the dragon, the waterfalls far below--that I feel like you must have had as much fun painting it as I did looking at it--there's a sense of discovery to its world, if that makes any sense. This is no traditional fantasy.
All that to say you totally deserved the DD and I'm glad it brought the rest of your work to my attention as well. ^_^

stunning, absolutely stunning. plentiful in outstanding detail, overall very dynamic - and the coloring is one of the damn finest coloring jobs i've come across for any artwork. how you've illustrated the tiger is just so very remarkable as well as mesmerizing, and the light set on the crow is flawlessly executed. Needless to say, i'm very very impressed xD

This is an amazing picture, the texture and detail of the surroundings are amazing, i love how you have drawn the dragon to, how u can faintly see the scales on his belly! Iβm guessing that you used corel for this? 10/10

Thanks a bunch for your kind compliments! I don't use Corel Painter, only Photoshop. Though I hear you can achieve some pretty cool effects in Corel, it comes along with quite a number of bugs.

oh really, wow i thought this was done in Corel! in my opinion Photoshop is great for line art, but Corel is best for colouring because of the texture and blur...but everyoneβs method of using programs variates so itβs hard to say unless u give it a shot!
