> Database = Ripper's future sparkmate. She was the one who coaxed him out of his shy awkwardness and got him to stop calling her 'Miss', Ripper fell in love with her gentle kind personality and although it took him some coaxing, he eventually decided he wanted to be her partner.
> Nix - Ripper often feels endebted to Nix as she convinced him not to allow himself to offline but instead gave him a new purpose. He is also eternally grateful for her sheltering he and Patch and for the part she played in Patchwork's recovery.
> Accelerate- As with Nix, Ripper appreciates the part Ace played in Patch and his own recovery. The autobot's easy demeanor helped bring some more light into his life, helping to teach him that it isn't all about war and strict hierarchy.

History

- Was a typical factory worker drone, nameless and working under appalling conditions.
- Joined Megatron through Necromancer with his brothers when the war started
- Chose to follow Necromancer when he finally split from Megatron
- Necromancer believes each drone must set themselves apart from the 'mould' and earn their own name
- Ripper was by chance summoned by Solitaire and ordered to bring her a human to 'play with'
- Did as he was told but had a change of heart right before handing over Isaac
- Ended up also being experimented on, was torn apart and put back together, getting an entirely new set of legs
- Was not intended to survive past the torture but Necromancer found out and freed he and Patchwork
- Ripper remained in induced stasis for sometime after that
- Woke up and attempted to get as far away from Patchwork as possible out of guilt, desired to offline himself
- Was convinced that Patchwork was his new purpose and it is his duty to help him recover and support him.
- Jinx offers to repair Ripper to look as normal as possible again but he refuses
- Ripper finally gets his new alt-mode
