Summai didn't believe that the stranger she met earlier would come back again and again. Lucky for him he had the talent to only cross her ways, or did he that on purpose? She didn't know but with time she didn't even care anymore. She even started to enjoy his company, it was nice to talk to someone who had his mind and intellect. Though Summai never lost her grumpy attitude it never chased him off. Untill that one day when she was sure, that they had spent to much time with each other. The lionesses grew suspicious, though just some of them showed that to her. She was the queen after all and she didn't need to explain herself, as long as she wouldn't work against the pride.

She chased him off and she made sure it was the last time they saw each other. She saw that he didn't understand why she wanted him to be gone, but he accepted it. She didn't want him to join her pride, she knew he wouldn't be happy here, even when he was on her side. This pride wasn't meant for clever boys like him. Sometimes Summai wished she wasn't the queen. One could think being a queen would be a great thing, but the responsibility was huge and the expectations of the others were sometimes even higher. Summai was able to deal with it, but just sometimes she thought, even dreamed of another life. A simplier. But then she looked at her lionesses, her friends, her pride, she lost those dreams and found comfort in the others. She loved them. She cared for them even more then she cared for herself. The stranger was a nice distraction and Summai knew that something of him would stay with her. She couldn't say, if it was love with him, she didn't even know his name, but past showed her that she wasn't made for love and Summai made her peace with that fact.
