Hate to point this out so long after it was posted...but drow have dark gray or black skin, usually. Sometimes tinged with purple or blue. Not, in any event, white or nearly so, like this girl has. I mean, unless she's supposed to be albino, which is a thing that happens. Eye color other than red is also fantastically uncommon, but that's more of a minor quibble of mine (that is to say, it seems like every player's drow has special-colored eyes)
(Remember that "drow" refers specifically to D&D's take on dark elves, and not dark elves in general from other media)

Oh, wait, except in DOTA, it would seem. Huh, how does DOTA get away with that? "Drow" are marked as Wizards of the Coast/Hasbro product identity; a game shouldn't be able to get away with having elves called "drow" in it. "Drow" aren't from any mythology, they're not public domain.
Well, whatever, feel free to ignore this comment. Though I do think she'd look better with dark skin.

lil bit late, but i thought i'd reply to this
according to dota lore, drow ranger isn't actually a drow β she's a human who was adopted by the drow and ended up fitting in with them. i'm not really sure about the whole domain thing, but i think the wiki can explain her backstory and the whole drow thing better than i can:Β dota2.gamepedia.com/Drow_Rangeβ¦
also, drow ranger in official art and in-game is portrayed with bluish skin, so the whiteness in haryarti's art is more stylisation than anything.

I absolutely love this piece, you capture the sexy danger of archers so well.Β
But I gotta point something out: She does not really look like a Drow Elf. The drow are typically said to have jet black skin, or rarely hinted at shades of violet. Maybe I'm not seeing something right. Still, the piece looks great, I'm just an autistic d&d geek.

Its a setting difference, the DotA-verse drow are are more like little trollish things, she herself is not even a drow but lived among them underground and ate their food so long it turned her skin blue

No, no, the blade is perfect, especially for a light armor type such as a ranger.
No, i don't play fantasy games (anymore) but i do know a lot about weapons, and a person like this would want to carry a smaller weapon for speed and precision.
Besides, if the blade was too big it would be unrealistic, unbalanced, and useless as the tang wouldn't be able to support the weight of the sword. :D

I really like her design...The dark colors with the blues, it's one of my favorite combinations! Plus, I love the concept of a ranged character that still knows how to do the knifework when things get too close.
