OMG its done
And its so pretty....alksdjlfj...can't believe I did this.. My second attempt at creating the land my character Artemis, DJ and her pet flying gecko dragon "Barnacle" live. I had hoped to somewhat display their individual personalities a little bit through the image, though mostly it wound up being an exercise on building environment and depth in it. Ok in all seriousness, this did take me about 7+ months to complete. Mostly because I was busy with homework the past year, wasn't drawing much and its a highly detailed picture. But I wanted to challenge my self to try something harder and I'm glad I did.
Never give up and never stop challenging what you can do~

I would really like to know how you all feel I did on the depth field, detail (does it look real / fit/ look even) and how submersing is the image? (do you feel like you're on the adventure with the characters?)Thank you~ <3

The Tree in the foreground looks absolutely amazing. The shading is done almost flawlessly there. The leaves of the flower in the front of the picture look to flat, they need more shades and more depth.
The Blur effect in the background comes out absolutely astonishing and the clouds under the island in the front left corner which cover it from below look absolutely perfect. Though ther are some parts of wood and also the leaves and the treecrown of the tree on the island are a bit off and need better shading, they look to flat and should be portrait more natruel. One of the best parts of this picture is the whole composition of it, which looks flawless.
I think some proportions of your characters are not quite correct. Also the face of the white haired character is hardly visible and doesn't quite seem to be accurate. You should check out the paralell lines there, how to set the eyes, glasses and cheek bones, by turning the picture you draw horizontally more often, because you'll see your mistkaes then.
There is a small logic mistkae on the brown character in the front, because the body weight would actually pull him down the isle, as long as gravity functions accurately in this world.
I myself would overdue the green fluffy like leaves on the trees, they look a bit off, but it's not that bad e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="
The paws and the tail of your characters look almost flawless and the overall appearance of this picture is gorgeous :3

Enchanting. Artemis is truly appealing - so much to absorb and appreciate. The body position is convincing and the tail is stunning. I like the match between her clothes/belt and her tail. From the close-up flower to the distant hills it all works well.
