you did fail at all :0 I think this is really awesome ;D the clouds look a little.. spotty but that's ok, i sometimes tend to draw my clouds like that.. and I didnt notice the border till i fulll viewed it o:
I also really like the robot.. how the purpple lighting has that little effect to it as the ball comes towards him.

Now the clouds at the top of the background are something I could look at for minutes. It is definitely similar to the ones I would see in the sky (but I'm not so sure about the ones you would see ), especially when you've made them look so spotty and randomly placed.

The squares in this Greenhill zone that you've drawn is absolutely classy. (Especially those around the loop. I love that part. ^^) You did a good job with the outline-less soft grass, and somehow I like the jagged outline you've given to the grass as well.

(Before you continue reading this paragraph, let me tell you that this paragraph is entirely in my opinion, so no offense if it sounds weird.) You know, about that globe of Dark Energy thrown at the robot, it looks as if it was homing in to its target rather than thrown (either way, the robot's toast ). To give it a bit of a 'throwing feel', besides the movement lines I see around it, you could perhaps move the centre of the orb (take for example, the white centre of Kitkat's attack) closer to the aforementioned target. (I wonder where's that pointed nose of the Egg Pawn anyway? )
