So, success. Well, kinda.ΒI went the hard way and just started from scratch, which took all evening once I got back from work and started to redo the body morph. Here's the result. Still, the hip musculature's there, only less so, which is a huge upgrade from the last render. I have not messed with the skin: only keeping the freckles on her face as a reference for myself (and for others, lol). I think it looks good for now. I could just keep this one as the primary body morph for the custom character.Β
Now, I can think of what to edit on the skin textures as I further mess with the Skin Builder; and I can start thinking of custom things, like eyebrows and eyelashes. That's going to be the plans heading forward.
Thoughts? As I head back to the comforts of my kotatsu and some Netflix on my laptop lol.

Looks great! When you get to the eyebrows and lashes, try matching the colors to her main hair. We don't really notice it in real life so much but most people have the same color for all three. I do that for all my characters and I think it helps them look more natural.

Yes, that's going to be in the next workaround for now, but I'm already looking forward to doing more with it now. But yes, eyelashes, eyebrows, makeup, eye colors...Β

That's good advice, many Daz G8F expressions have a little squinch built in, depending on which expression sets you own look for names like confident, determined, photogenic and others in that vein. Dialing in just a little can really do a lot. But by all means also read up on it, that way you can do it yourself with just existing dials and powerpose.
