Oh look, a pony comic in which Lyra is obsessed with hands. Haven't seen that before.Hey, it's a good joke! I don't recall seeing one where Lyra was confused how some other pony was gripping something, anyway. Besides, everyone likes a little Lyra.

Yeap, after seeing the cheers part, how can a big hoof fit into the cup holder and also be able to hold it as though like they have hands.

If you look at 21:26 here [link] you can see that not only have the Ponies shoved their hooves through the cup handles, but the two we can see from the back seem to have developed some sort of _thumb_ to improve their grip. Frankly, I suspect Pony "hooves" are actually some sort of rubbery, shape-shifting organ, something utterly alien to our concept of mammalian life...
