I started drawing this since May 2022, after I finally got to see the Rescue Rangers movie on Disney+.

In case any of you forgot, I was quite impressed. I didn’t think that movie would turn out enjoyable. Despite of some of the changes, especially to some fans of ChipXGadget, this stood out as quite of a unique film based on a Disney Afternoon cartoon. I even like how the producers even went for the Roger Rabbit approach.

I was inspired to do this sketch which concerns that one detail in the movie that got some fans ticked.

But we all must remember… this is a just a movie! A cinematic adaptation! You know how most movies based on works from other media had to take liberties on changing things left and right. Just like how movies based on video games (like Mario and Song) had to make it less of a game and more of moving story. And we do adaptations so we would make them as distinctly different as everyone else’s version. And you can decide, whether or not, this version is canon. Also… fans are extremely hard to please.

Anyway, I went back just today and decide to finish it up.

With that out of the way, Chip and Gadget are watching their movie on a smartphone. You might’ve guessed Chip had an awkward feeling about the one detail in the movie. But Gadget’s right!

No reason to get worked up over a film. Why make a mountain out of a mousehole?
