Once again with more scrap work and practices of Japanese spirits and monsters, bearing the Porject Yokai for its own title. Here are some finds and renderings I managed to illustrate.

AMIKIRI (網切) : Speaking of SHRIMP, this crustacean yokai is responsible for cutting nets, any nets like fishing nets, screen door nets, window nets, and or even a Japanese mosquito net (known as a kaya). Yes, they have a long body, a sheel, a beak, and two sharp scissor-like claws or pinsers. Really like the hair style.

Baku (獏) : A chimerical being of a elephant (head), tiger (claws and forearms), bear (body), and an ox (tail). Ever had a nightmare? This kind of beast, in spite of its fierce look, they're very convenient for its diet on bad dreams. They actually support humans this way. It does make me wonder....does a baku ever sleep or dream?

Mujina (貉) : A shapeshifting badger, which means kitsunes (foxes) and tanukis (raccoon dogs) aren't the only ones.

Kappa (河童) : A keenly smart, cucumber-loving, befriending, honarable creatures, which most of you guys recall or know.

Suiko (水虎 ): the variation of a kappa and cousin, often mistaken for a kappa. They are the most murderous, malevolent, brutes who drown helpless mortals. It's no wonder they're name means, "water tiger".

The kappa and suiko made their appearance in "Kappa or Alpha or Omega".

Chabukuo : a recent find I've found. A floating tea bag which curses any sighter a fever. I figure this would be more distinctive and more innovative. For now, I added a skull on the tea bag.

The names around are just names of other yokai I am planning to draw later then in a next scrap page. So be expecting more soon!
