OMG. This is my very first digital painting. it took me all day with a terrible mouse on a tablecloth that hates me. must get a tablet for doing this with. Because I had fun ^^i used one of my many frog stock photos as a reference that can be found here:

I am normally mostly a photography buff around DA, but I have a soft spot for well done paintings. this qualifies above and beyond, especially with the materials that you had to work with! It looks so real! the texture and the translucent quality of the leaf is amazing! definate +fav

yep. i did it with an annoying mouse i've nicknamed 'Lag' which next to the annoying mouse is the next most annoying thing about my computer.

I am just stunned by the way it looks so real I was like "wow, she managed to capture such a complicated and lucky shot" and then I read the artist's comment and almost died of awesomeness...
