Beg to differ, the silhouettes for some ancestor characters, the HIC (Post-Scratch Meenah Peixes) to be exact, unnecessarily resembles blackface (a racist caricature of African American people), which was used in Minstrel Shows. And not only that uses her Pre-Scratch self's typing quirk (which has AAVE)!
And for Damara, she's also a racist caricature of Japanese women, by using Google Translated Japanese and surprisingly bad English, all in caps lock!

Yeah, I agree. Despite my icon, I hate how the author of Homestuck kills all of its characters and turns them evil without any problems (like Eridan and Gamzee). The guy only cares about the Scorpio girl, Vriska and gives her more attention than other trolls. And Kanaya too, I liked her at the start until she became Hussie's waifu. I hate how fans enjoyed it.
