Just because you hate snakes gives you not a single right to kill any of them. They are highly beneficial to the environment, and 98% of them are absolutely harmless to people. I hate pugs, doesn't mean I get to kill any, and I don't want to. It's ok to have a phobia, it's natural! But it's not ok to harm animals just because you dislike or fear them. (On another note that's a ridiculous price for a normal ball python. lol Better than Petco though.)

Wait, I got the price in there too? Hu, didnt even notice. Some observant photographer. I kill snakes and no one is going to stop me from doing it. Give you an example: there is a fire brick pile in my drive way. I went to get a few bricks and a snake pooped it's head out, startling me. I grabbed the nearest object (which was a hammer) and smashed it's brain out. After I told my parents, they gave the same speech you did. So I went out the next day, found the nest in the bricks and killed them. Well, two of them got away but still. It helped me work on close combat air and reflexes, cause I always go for the head. I'm bad but i'm not cruel.

You do realize if you were to kill every snake around your house, unless you own a cat, you would soon become overrun with mice and rats - which carry deadly diseases? Also, from my years of living with cats and wild snakes in close proximity, snakes are much better mousers as they do not have to wait for the mouse to enter the house to grab them. I don't have the ability to stop you, it would just be nice if less people would destroy the ecosystem by taking out its apex predators. We live on Earth and depend on it.

It isn't bullshit, but you can think what you want. They used to use amphibians as environmental indicators, but since learned reptiles are more receptive to environmental change, so now they use them as indicators. Reptiles have a harder time adapting to new environments and must have specific requirements met to live healthily. I wouldn't go out and kill a dog, just like I wouldn't go out and kill a snake. Even though dogs are highly invasive damaging pests to virtually all environments. It's just wasteful to go around killing animals like that. It takes away an apex predator, which keeps multiple animal populations under control, and when they are taken away that balance is tipped and can collapse a whole ecosystem if it gets out of hand. (i.e. deer populations - I know, not pertaining to snakes, just the first one I can think of - a population lived on an island where they had no predators. The population got so large that the food sources could not support them and many died of starvation. Eventually a pack of wolves found them, thinned them out and their food slowly grew back and could again support the deer population because the wolves kept them in check.)

I am trying to destroy the ecosystem. You know the best thing about it? It always comes back. People forget that. It might be forty thousand years, but the earth resets. And I already know about the deer population thing, even if I genocided all the snakes in my area, the rodent population would remain the same cause there are other predators. I don't have time to school you, so i'm gonna go kills some snakes I'll be back.

Personally, I think snakes are kind of cool ... the non deadly ones of course.

I am one of those people who have a phobia of snakes. I think it's the way they move that just makes me GERRR.
