A crimson duo who won't shy away from spilling blood and making their enemies seeing red with anger. I couldn't resist making the obvious puns. I could have gotten BloodRayne Betrayal on the cheap, but I was put off by the frustrating difficulty and bad controls according to the reviews I have read for it. Between having a few god awful live actions movies and a very unneeded wuboot I cannot decide which of the two protagonists got screwed over worse. Heck I do not think that the developers of the first two Bloodrayne games are still around.
But anyways ranting aside,I will say that Dante and Rayne teaming up to hunt down demons and vampires would be fantastic. Maybe Dante is convincing Rayne to help him out weeding out the hack and slash protagonists I utterly despise such as Kratos, Juliet Starling, and Gabriel Belmont/Dracula to name a few.
I can imagine Trish and Rayne getting along pretty well while Lady might be very cautious around her for obvious reasons.

That would really be a dream team....also sadly enough, we haven´t see a game featuring either of the two at all in the recent years. And I am not counting the special edition of DMC4.

OH I have played it all right, which is precisely why I do not count it in the list. Because whilst playing Vergil or Trish was fun, it still does not change that it was still the original game with just a little extra bolted on. And since I finished the normal DMC4 a long time ago, I do not see it as something new. Now if they had made an entirely new game where those characters would be playable, now that I could get behind....
