Description First of all, I wanna thank ~Joachim-Berger for being the first and only watcher looking at my scraps and gave some input to the WIP - The Spirit of Fall

I owe you one bro...otherwise I wouldn't start with that pic yet.^^

Edit : Removed some minor mistakes and added the leaf between her hair (like the one from the WIP)



Man...the hair was just a pain in the ass to do.
7 Hours work...4 only on the hair o_x

Anyway...this actually was supposed to be a contest-entry...but as dumb as I am, I misunderstood the definiton of "Spirit of Fall", where they wanted more the environmental feeling than a Spirit-"Spirit of Fall" xP
(2nd Edit : BOOOHOOO BIATCHES, MAH PIC IS NAO AFTER ALL PART OF THE CONTEST : "Spirit of Fall" BY XD)
But I don't think I'll win. I never win at contests, not even get a 2nd or 3rd place.^^

My most favourite season, Autumn/Fall. I just love the vibrant colours of the leaves, the last warm sunrays while it's getting slowly cold. The feeling of the sundown when you just listen quietly to rustling leaves. How their true colours show up and the wind blows them smoothly around. By all this greatness, I just have to believe that there is a Spirit of Autumn/Fall, making it so wonderful.


Well, so far that's that the last pic from me with "brighty-colourful-highsaturated blahs"...I think it's slowly getting annoying.^^

If I just noticed it right, she just could look like the mother of...nevermind^^

(3rd Edit : Finally I've been told about the mistakes in the pic, so there goes the update. - I just held the "corrected version" back because I just don't know IF the corrected version is actually correct at all.^^")

this is a chunk of something I'll probably never understand I mean, this work has a few real problems with anatomy (proportions of the torso, lenght and thinnes of arms and legs are out of place, maybe try to do something about it? It's never too late) BUT- this picture really makes a great impression! looking at the small thumbnail I just thought I HAVE to see this! Your skill in digital art (how you work with colours and lines) is remerkable!

Duh!
Did you know that I just wait for this damn moment when someone finally mention what mistakes I just did? O_o

I mean, I already knew that there are things that bothers me all the way, but no one wanted to write anything about it... so I just waited it out and hold the "corrected version" back.^^
(More because I think that maybe the corrected version is wrong and not the actual one )
And this is a reason why I joined dA, that people like you actually tell me what I'm doing wrong and what I have to improve on.
Duh, you have my heartfelt thanks for just writing it out. ^_^
(Well, at least I hope the updated one is better)

Well, seems like that colouring is actually the only thing I can do anyhow.*bah*
(There is just one thing I still don't understand...what do you actually mean with "A chunk of something I'll probably never understand"?^^)

Because it's the polar opposite of my works... practicing the body proportions and anatomy sketches with different angles and poses is about all I can do, but making something look vivid and fun is my absolute weakness
