Here's our chubby friend again, as seen before here:

I'm still practicing the best way to draw her and trying different things. I don't think she'll end up looking as realistic in the comic as in this one.
The inspiration for her design comes from my own dog, who unfortunately fell very ill last year and had to be put to sleep. She's a constant inspiration for me and I often user her photos as references when it comes to dog anatomy (whether I get it right or not is a separate issue..). She helped me through difficult times and I miss her very much, so I thought that the best way to honor her life and the memories was to make one of the main characters in my comic resemble her.

Your fur coloring and animal art is so clean! Did you first draw animals or humans when you started off as an artist?

I did -sort- of do both! I loved my dog however, so there was a heck of a lot of sketching of her back in the day and similar characters. I've definitely spent more time drawing animals than humans (not necessarily the most anatomically correct ones, but one learns by trying I s'pose!).

I wish I could! I really miss her. My family has done their best to go through their folders and cameras to bring me any and all photos of her they can find.

I made sure to have at least 1 picture of him
It is tough losing pets

Aye. I really wish I had had the chance to see her one last time.
I went to visit her 'grave' though while I was back home, a place where she loved to run around. I have no idea where she's buried but it was nice to have a walk around there again.

That honestly sounds nice ,
I know what you mean...death always happens when you least expect it...and we are left thinking about the last time you talked or just spent time with the one who passed.
I think the hardest part of death for me is, I don't know if the one who passed really knew how i felt about them...
