This picture took so long to complete. I couldn't get the emotion in this picture that I wanted to portray. So what is this picture exactly?

This is Kid's story.

This picture tells a tale of two people who fell in love but could never be together. The time they spent together was always short, and was never accepted.

So this is their time together. In an attempt to stop a war, they were both badly injured. The angel, protecting his love was mortally wounded.

So here they are. Kid will make it, and she knows this. The angel, however, begins to slowly fade away. His wings are but ashes behind him, his form, slowly breaking apart. This is the first time he ever held her.

"Don't Leave Me" She whispers to him.
