Ah, i know it obviously would have been a tough subject to cover , but was anybody else peeved when they didn't get together at the end when they obviously should have?

yeah well they did not get together because it would have been a human male/ anthro female type relationship and if you look at the internet and comic cons for 2 seconds you will find that 99.99% of main stream and furry fandom HATES the idea of a human male having a female anthro relationship

It seems that 99.99% of main stream hates any human male/anything else. It's the whole female humans can do what they want with anyone but male's must only be with other humans.....why is this so backwards and taboo? Seriously, I write fanfiction (not lemons or sex just normal fanfiction) and I've had quite a number of people sending me pm's about how it's not right for a male to love an alien female or any female that wasn't human.

the reasons will depend on the type of person telling you this
1 mainstream male: thinks that women are inferior and therefore when they have an anthro/xeno romance, that woman has no value as a person and so the mainstream male thinks they can do anything to her and project themselves into the xeno (aka just like the furry fandom)
2 mainstream female: brainwashed but i have found them easy to break free of the psychosis with a few mins of one on one discussion.
3 anthro fandom male: same as mainstream male but they just admit to the projection when you point it out
4 anthro fandom female: racist and sexist.Β as the only difference between and anthro/xeno character is their surface value aka their Race, the offender is therefore a racist because they disallow a race of people to mix with other races.Β going further they are sexist because they disallow a GENDER of said race to intermix with other races
racism, sexism and bigotry. this is why you never see the popualar anthro artist draw human male/ anthro female pic (and most will out right say they hate it to all and sundry) and why mainstream never allows it
now mainstream is starting to bomb furry conventions with mustard gas and the police do nothing about it.
this is because most people want to appear to be politically correct but since they are not allowed to hate on people for being different ethnicities, cultural backgrounds or religions (etc) they choose the easiest target they can which is anyone (male) who likes anthros (women)

Β Do you think in the past that double standard of "only human women can be with nonhuman people" is almost a throwback to the 19th century when someone was not considered human based on their skin color when the white man thought they were "superior"?
And lately with mainsteam shows and movies i mentioned to you, they are having human males with truly Xeno/furry/mutant women them seeing your artwork and standing a stand against that dumb double standard "only human women can be with nonhuman people" even JG Quintel to the Bojack Horseman makers see your artwork. Can you imagine if Minerva Mink dated a human guy in the Animaniacs reboot? or if Princess Carolyn on Bojack dated a human guy in the past?
The avatarding and stupid double standard only human females can be with nonhuman people and aliens are just humans need to just go and it isΒ going away slowly so with those shows/movies even Warcraft the movies and successes i mentioned. People should learn from Beauty and the Beast about it's not the surface that matters but what is inside.

Well without being up to date I'm not sure where the character development is at comparing to the old 80's cartoon but i had my hopes up for an episode like they had in the old Disney Gargoyle where races get swapped or changed and we get Jack as Rodimus Prime sort of deal.Β Which wouldn't be a permanent change and he would be human jack by the end of the episode or episode block. But come ON, the amount of perceived sexual tension between these two is seething for that sort of thing.Β Probably has already happened in like 20 fanfics by now.
Love your work, keep it up.Β

at the end of tf prime and beast hunters they removed jack from the story and the last episode had a 'shoe horned' in bumblebee / arcee thing
but thanks any way

"absolutely no build up from any previous episode." You are so right. In fact you're right about everything there, such a sad world we live in sometimes.

basically anything that has a human male 'shipping' a xeno female is banned in pop culture as quickly as can be, because most people think of anything or anyone different from themselves and their 'group' as being inferior.Β so in this male dominated medium the idea of their own allegory (jack) being "lowered" to an "inferior" creature's (Arcee) perspective love interest is completely un-acceptable.
thus we have the forced relationship of Arcee and Bumblebee at the end of TFPrime beast wars thingy with absolutely no build up from any previous episode.

I'm watching the first season of transformers prime and I really like this pairing for some reason. It confuses me because it's like a human and a robot but they seem kind of sweet together. My liking of this couple started in the episode where Jack's mother is at the base and apologizes to Arcee.Β

i like it cause human male xeno female pairing are so rare and hated they practically grantee the destruction of ones career

Destruction of one's career? not anymore! those shows i mentioned to you even Regular Show and Voltron reboot which are successful mainstream shows have human male with nonhuman looking females and are now being accepted, the double standards are being thrown out the window and be glad of it and Avatar by James Cameron have been forgotten, for the better of it.
