I really love this image. It has a detective/gangster feel to it with an Anthro twist. The crazy hairdo on the pianist is a very nice touch.

Ermagersh I LOVE the contrast in this THe background is excellent and the crisp edges. SO this is part 3d, part painted or what was your process here?

i build the 3d models as morphs from Daz 3d base model then render them with the correct lighting ( i do not use clothing props though) then i paint in all the corrections for light, pose props and such until i am satisfied it looks good

Also, nice to see someone drawing Octavia playing a cello properly (granted, don't see that many who bow with their left hand Β Considering doing that myself actually, because my left hand pinky is a bitch, but that's besides the point).
In a related note, interesting design to have that inverted tailpiece on the cello. Β Not quite sure how that'd work in a real setting, but it looks really cool.

Hey if it looks good, roll with it. The only reason I know is because of that large wooden box next to me, with wires strapped to knobbly bits on top.
I genuinely do like the design though, and the engineer in me just wants to figure out how/if it would work if it was real.Β

I'm getting an awesome Leonardo DaVinci vibe from Luna's wings and the soaring arches...
The romantic atmosphere and details you've injected into this scene are amazing. I especially love how there are actual galaxies in Luna's hair and tail as well as stars. Also, Vinyl being a skilled pianist is a great headcanon to see outside my own brain.

The starry tail and hair stand out very nicely despite being in black and white. I like the little edgy tweak on Octavias cello. Overall very nice, from the wrinkles In the clothing to the expressions it was time well spent. Now you will modify it into a 3D version?
