As much as i support interspecies love, i love human male X nonhuman female being romance more myself despite i do support interspecies romance even female human X nonhuman male to even lesbians like Vastra/Jenny on Doctor Who.

There is another artist that does human male/non-human female as much as human female/non-human male.Β He's The Viktor on FA.Β You should check him out.Β I must say, though, that his art isn't as detailed as hattonslayden's is.Β It's more cartoony than realistic.

But there are hundreds of Sci-fi stories where the atmosphere on a planet is breathable, and Hatton said Cameron just set up that toxic atmosphere even to nearly kill Jake to set up the bigoted ending and i agree with him that with all the genetic tech the scientist made for years could have made nanites to get in human lungs/stomaches to filter out the air to make them breathe and eat things on the planet and that the avatars were a just waste of resources to be meat puppets. And the tree could had healed him and also make him walk and make him breathe the atmosphere/eat things and digest things there on Pandora and Neytiri would accept him for who he is but noooo it had to magically change him into a Na'Vi which i hate that ending as much as Hatton does based on his upbringing.
Afterall Β i support interspecies/inter-being romance in Science Fiction/fantasy stories, books, shows, fanfiction, art, comics, animations, movies, video games and more in general fiction of different beings of people who are alien, magical creature being, anthro humanoid and all that. Hatton and i Β hate bigots, racists, double standards (especially when we both them in ourselves) and when people act like their own "negative stereotype". To me and him Β anthro sapient beings, humanoid beings, mutant beings, magical creature beings and xeno characters in fiction do not always represent the inferior beings that 'Mainstream' media always portrays them sometimes when not all are bad especially in Sci-fi/fantasy. They represent 'people who look different' and as me with he was taught growing up not to be a bigot or a racist and to treat all people as equals with different skills and abilities of those who look different than the color of our skin or appearance. Same for me as him and i are both the same age of turning 38, i was also taught as a kid not to be a racist or a bigot to anyone who looked different on the surface to treat them with respect.
Me and him do not like "avataring"or other transformation storiesΒ on human males to become anthro or alien males to "get with" the nonhuman female used to side step the "we look different from each other so we cannot accept each other" thing.
To him that is the same as taking the classic "Guess who's coming to dinner" and taking the main character who is a Black man and at the end of the movie magically turning him into a white man so that the parents of the woman he loves have their own racist notions satisfied.Β
Nowadays we have human male X anthro/Xeno female like Hunk and Shay on Voltron Legendary Defender, Charolette and Kyle with Todd and Maude on Bojack Horseman, Regular Show's Margot's parents and more as there is diversity in the human X anthro/Xeno thing nowadays of getting rid of double standards and also getting rid of the "Avataring" (turning human male into nonhuman male to "get with" nonhuman woman).Β
n 5, Farscape etc. hell i'm even reading a story series where a human male and Minerva Mink (remember her from Animaniacs?) have a romantic relationship, as they love each other for who they are and not what they are to plenty of more.
Yes i know they are all fictional but fiction is a good use of escapism when i read a book/fanfiction/graphic novel or watch a TV show/movie to feel emotions of some characters like i am there for a bit. But i tend to like the human male X nonhuman female being romance variety more than the typical Beauty and the Beast type of romance of a human woman X nonhuman male being type as i relate to the human male X nonhuman female being romance stuff more myself especially on DA artwork especially one of my friends's Hatton's artworks to some fanfiction to some comics. I see these fantastical romances even in Sci-fi/fantasy to be allegories/metaphors to real life interracial romance and i find interspecies/inter-being romance in fiction to be quite expressive.
Like Prince Lir in The Last Unicorn (book by Peter S Beagle and movie) once said when he found out about the lovely Lady Amalthea's true identity as he replied "Unicorn, mermaid, sorceress, gorgon, vampire, gargoyle, elf, werewolf, genie...no name you can give her would surprise OR frighten me, i love whom i love". One of my fave quotes. And do you all know what he meant?

This whole Avataring/Shreking (the racist in undertone endings to the movie Avatar where the human male should have magically been healed to walk/breath the air of the world Pandora without a mask/no avatar to remain human for she could accept him for who he is but NO he had to change into a Na'Vi and also at the end of Shrek where Fiona who is a cursed human who wanted to be human again if she can find true love as when she knows Shrek is her true love she magically remains an ogress when she could had turned human and he could still accept her for who she is as a person as same for Shrek to accept him as a person than a monster, but no it's the stupid "Stick to those who look like you as a surface as in race or species than accepting someone as a person" which to Hatton and i it's like having an East Indian woman and a white man in love as the East Indian woman magically becomes white or if the white man magically turns East Indian) and the idiotic double standard that only human women can get with nonhuman folk needs to go eh?
Well in this day and age now thanks to Regular Show (Margaret's parents being a human male X anthro bird female), Bojack Horseman (which has plenty of interspecies romance but my fave couple on the show is Kyle and Charolette a human male X anthro deer woman as both produced 2 kids) and Superjail which has a human man married a sexy anthro blonde alligator lady. All mainstream shows and it's showing that the double standard is slipping away slowly.

I'm currently working on a story about a human male who contracts a disease, is put into stasis and awakens 20,000 years later to find that humans are dying off and are being replaced by anthros.Β He finds himself attracted to a tiger-striped fox (see my icon) and has to fight with his prejudices against such a relationship.Β (Due to his belief that it would be bestiality)Β He does eventually overcome this and admits his feelings for her.Β (She's loved him from the moment she literally ran into him.)Β In the story, the human meets several "inter-species" couples both human male X anthro female and human female X anthro male.Β He asks them about any problems they have with such a coupling and is surprised that they're surprised that he doesn't know it's acceptable.
