Has he ever been in anything other than a comic? That's likely a reason why.

Honestly, I'm not sure how Deadpool got so popular before his movie. Not in a "what's his appeal?" way, but in a, "how do people know who this guy is?" way? I'm probably seeming like an idiot by saying that though. (Which probably isn't too inaccurate, heh)

Like, I get Deadpool's appeal, I just don't know how he became so mainstream prior to his movie.

At least Superman, Batman and Spider-Man made a huge impact back when comics in general were mainstream, so I can understand them still being mainstream today(even if people don't really seem to like Superman in particular nowadays).

Eh, I think we should, just, stop this comics psuedo discussion. I don't wanna go in depth with this. Mostly because I'm not really qualified to go in depth.
