I wanted to try different cel shading with shines and suchtested with alolan ninetales/vulpix

Vision: I really love what you done with the Alolan Vulpix and Ninetales. They look very glossy and more "ice" than "snow". It feels very smooth yet contains the right amount of color. The vulpix looks... a bit dirty because there's too much grey. Other than that, they look very mystical and shiny color wise~
Originality: Though, the popularity spike of Alolan Vulpix and Ninetales isn't that surprising... but I can give you credit for trying different techniques to make the Alolan pokemon have a more "clear" and defined look. We mainly see Alolan ninetales for it's fuzzy and snowy look but she looks like she came out of a snow covered glacier (eh... Steven Universe and their Kindergarten).
Technique: I know you want to try a different cel shading technique. I think your hard work paid off just fine! It feels really mystical and feels like an ice type pokemon. The different colored lines fit the tone, color scheme, and the executed detail that matches and resembles with the art itself. The blending of the blue and white also supports the realistic ice tone. Though some parts of the tail and fur seems to jagged and not elegant to fit perfectly with the Alolan foxes.
Impact: You nailed the eyes and the captive emotions. I think the Alolan Vulpix have a funny "Dusky Emotion" face which captures the naive, child cub while the Ninetales contains this calm and "cool" look and expression. It makes me feel relaxed and humbled by their pose and emotions. Though, I only wish that they can interact with each other or maybe do something more than just standing there side by side (unless they're comparing heights or playing around and the mother isn't amused for reason e.deviantart.net/emoticons/let⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="
Overall, I really enjoyed this piece and your new technique, in my opinion, is a success. i hope you continue to test out new techniques that makes your future submissions shine and glisten like no other art~
