I was so confused when I saw that Rose was white in the newer one. I like both, tbh. Both series are awesome.

I REALLY wonder why they made Rose's skin (much) lighter and her hair almost black

when I saw her in Brotherhood, I was like "why did they make her white?!" I think she looks better tan, but both Roses are good. I liked her role in the first anime series more.

Ah, you really think so? For some reason I kind of saw Rose as more of a liability in the first anime when she showed up all mute with her baby but, I guess that's just me XD

To be fair, she has no visible dark skin in the manga like other characters. But I would say she's tan, just because.
