Well, I "finished" my 302 model the other day. Then I started talking to some about modifications I wanted to make to get the 302 to feel more "realistic". Here's a start. I went back to my base wing/fuselage mesh and started over. I figured out some new ways to handle the paneling on the wings. They look a lot cleaner. Then I started on beveling the leading edges of the wings to make them seem at least somewhat aerodynamic. It's not perfect, but doesn't look to bad IMO. Then one of my big nit picks, the vertical stabilizers. The new ones are somewhat based off of the ones fitted on the F-22. I just made them thicker to potentially handle a bit more stress on re-entry and straightened the leading edge more. My next few steps will be adding access panels on the wings and fuselage, more nav/formation lights, and some RCS thrusters here and there. Here goes nothing.
