Hawkfeather died in her sleep near the end of August 2014 (see fav.me/d7wfxq2 ), and so is no longer publicly available for roleplay. Any HighClanner is welcome to request her appearance in a dream but aside from that she is no longer part of Dawn-Of-Warriors .

- Mature - Hawkfeather is not one for immature, young kits and apprentices who are constantly – in her opinion – annoying the clan. She constantly presents herself as serious and a role model, and so finds it hard to make jokes or laugh.
- Short-tempered – Hawkfeather lets little comments get under her fur and annoy her, and these often lead to her holding a grudge against a particular cat for a couple of days before letting it slide.
- Impatient – Hawkfeather doesn’t have much patience and so gets frustrated easily. This often leads to her having a tantrum, and in the process, frightening kits.
- Caring – Despite her occasional outbursts of frustration, Hawkfeather is a caring and loving cat. She takes great pride and honour in looking after her clan, and loves to teach and tell stories.
- Protective – Hawkfeather is extremely protective about her clan, and makes it her duty to know everything that has happened, is happening, and will happen. She loves keeping the clan healthy and – depending on how she feels about the cat in question – will defend anyone with all her heart.
- Empathetic – As she is the medicine cat, Hawkfeather sees so many injuries that, after a while in her occupation, she learnt to be empathetic with the wounded cats. She tries her hardest to relate with the cats, but sometimes does not succeed.
- Proud – Hawkfeather usually lets her pride get in the way of her work, and so she sometimes – not often, though – underestimates how bad some wounds are.
- Intimidating – Young cats – and sometimes fully grown warriors – are often intimidated by Hawkfeather’s frightening character. She doesn’t let her size interfere with her superiority.

Description
Breed: Tortoiseshell
Face: Hawkfeather’s face and head are slightly fluffier than the rest of her body, and the majority of it is a creamy colour. Her left ear is black, and her right eye is also covered with a black patch. She also has few small patches of white and hazel brown scattered across her face and neck. Her eyes are a deep ocean blue.
Body: When compared to the average she-cat size, Hawkfeather is considered to be small. Like her head, the main colour of her pelt is a creamy colour, with the occasional spot of black, hazel brown, and white. Her body is sleek, and she has a white underbelly. Despite her size, Hawkfeather is still intimidating to the unwary cat. Since being attacked by the Sharptooth, she spends her time being close to the ground.
Legs: Her legs are the average size for a she-cat of her age, and are patterned like the rest of her body; cream with spots of black, hazel brown, and white. Only two of her paws are coloured. Since being attacked by the Sharptooth, she is unable to move her back legs.
Tail: Hawkfeather’s tail is long and thin, and since being attacked by the Sharptooth, she is unable to move it.

History

[Kit] Hawkkit’s father and brother (Yarrowkit) died pretty early during her kithood, and so was dependant on her mother for the first half of her life. Hawkkit met Owlbreeze and Yarrowkit in her dreams the night before her apprenticeship.

[Apprentice] Hawkpaw was originally training to be a warrior, but after some issues that she faced, Hawkpaw began her training to become the next medicine cat. Her mentor later died of greencough, but Hawkpaw at the time was not old enough to gain her warrior name, and so she took over the position of medicine cat with her apprentice name. A moon or so later, she received her warrior name, and became known throughout the clan as Hawkfeather.

[Medicine Cat] Hawkfeather was proud to have been helping her clan through disasters requiring medicines, and was happy to say that she did well in keeping all of HighClan quite healthy.

[Elder] Hawkfeather was attacked by the Sharptooth that invaded HighClan (March/April 2014), and broke her lower back, making her incapable of moving her tail and back legs. She now spends her time restricted in the elder’s den, and is constantly checked upon by her former apprentice, Hollowgaze.

Poor Kestrelheart was such a beautiful cat, and I know that the clan misses her terribly. She was one of my favourite cats as she was so patient, and I miss her along with the rest of the clan.

Oh, dearest Cheetahmask; my one true love. I was only an apprentice, but I said some terrible things, and never got the chance to tell him how I felt. He died only days after becoming a warrior, and I blame myself every day for it.

Owlbreeze | |
My father wasn’t the best of fathers, but he certainly tried his hardest. I was only a few moons old when he died a warrior’s death in battle.

Willowclaw | |
Willowclaw was my mother, and an extremely good one at that. I was one of two kits in her second litter, but she handled us both as if we were from her fifth. She drowned after giving birth to her fourth litter, when I had first become the medicine cat.

Yarrowkit | |
I never really got the chance to know much about my littermate, as he died only days after his birth. As we were born in the middle of leaf-bare, it’s not that surprising for him to have died from the cold.
