If one were to ask Eleanor to drop everything and join a group of ragtag misfits on a quest to save the world, her initial response would be to tell you to f**k off in not so many words, immediately followed by her finding something heavy and blunt to throw at your face. Such is how Eleanor tends to approach the world in general; loudly, bluntly and with an impressive repertoire of creative sweary words. She has a tendency to take issue with any suggestion and pretty much any remark thrown her way, which can lead to problems when she’s forced into playing buddies with four of her classmates. Especially so with Callum, with whom she shares a past and subsequently holds a bit of a grudge.

As unhelpful as Eleanor can be at times, she doesn’t do it out of outright meanness (most of the time), but more as a way to deal with frequently stressful circumstances in her family life. Even then, after she’s blown her top she will calm down fairly rapidly and focus on the task at hand, where she often proves herself to be very intelligent and an adept tactician. She can often channel her aggression into an intense drive which allows her out of everybody to get things done, although the high volume of sweary words often remains the same.

Eleanor’s even been known to soften up to people after a little while and can become quite approachable, although it is something she will fervantly deny. Still, despite being stubborn and incredibly crude Eleanor always keeps the final goal, and the wellbeing of her comrades, first and foremost in her mind.

(Even if she’s constantly complaining about it. Often justifiably so. After all, in her own words, she’s working with arseholes, including herself)

Personality

In many ways Terramon is a perfect fit for her partner; she’s grouchy, diffucult and doesn’t take kindly to anybody interfering in her business. Including her partner, which causes issues on occasion. While more stubborn and single-minded than outright aggressive, Terramon still prefers to beat a solution out of a problem than attack it with any sort of intelligence or rational thought.

This can lead to problems since, by her own admission, Terramon is not particularly bright or observant, and can become blindly obsessed when she’s chosen a path to take. She can also be quite gullible, and will take any problems that occur incredibly personally, subsequently holding a large guilt complex.

Because of this she holds tightly onto Eleanor and will trust her with her life, and will fight to her fullest potential when she knows she’s fighting for the right reason, and for the right people. When she does, her power is impressive to say the least, as her steadfastness and blunt nature gives her an incredible affinity with the world around her, making her a reliable and driven partner and friend.

Chelydramon’s jaws glow white-hot and she clamps down on her opponent with an incredible force. Only she can release her grip once she’s caught hold.

I’d say this is because I have no self control except that’s already clear from the fact that I do all of this to myself to begin with.
Anyhoo. Turtles. I like turtles. And terrapins. And any reptile in the Testudine/Chelonii family. That’s sufficient reason to make them a major partner.
