History:
Morgana was born over a thousand years ago, to the cursed goddess, Medusa. Medusa sired a child out of wedlock, which wasn't looked down in her society normally. But, her husband, Gorgades, cursed her mother. Medusa was forced to live the first thousand years of Morgana's life in Tartarus. Morgana was raised by her aunts Stheno and Euryale. They adored Morgana more than anything, but Gorgades despised his step-daughter. He tried to belittle her but one of Morgana's key traits is her confidence. He eventually just sent her away from the kingdom and she was taken in by Mage Meadowbrook when she saw the potential in the young Gorgony. She taught Morgana everything she knew about making magical items. Starswirl eventually convinced Meadowbrook to send her away. Morgana did not get along with Starswirl that well, Starswirl did not trust any non-pony species, even though Morgana was technically a pony. She returned home and realized once she had been sent away her mother had been released and told that she was dead. Gorgades and Medusa had another child, named Takshaka, who was cursed from birth by Queen Gaia. Tak was born as a Naga, not as a Gorgony. The first of his kind. Gorgades refused to let either of Medusa's children inherit his throne and he had an affair with another gorgony to have Mythsis, the female heir to the Gorganian throne.
Morgana, Medusa and her baby brother Tak were thrown out of the kingdom and forced to live somewhere else. Medusa decided on a cave nearby and eventually she began to cause chaos once again when she left Morgana and Tak alone in the cave, frozen in place with a spell. Medusa after a short period of chaos and destruction was turned to stone by Queen Gaia. Gaia had just given birth to her second child, Luna, and was tired of taking care of Equestria. She refused to unfreeze Medusa's two children either. Gaia had her third child shorty after, Amore. Gaia passed away shortly after, leaving Starswirl to raise her three children.
Celestia, after thousands of years found out about the two time frozen children and took her and Luna to release them. They did just that, despite Twilight insisting against it. Celestia understood Twilight's concern, they were the children of a dangerous creature, but that did not mean they didn't deserve a chance to live their own lives. Morgana was already an adult so Celestia let her go off and do her own thing. But, Takshaka was taken to Celestia's school and became one of her students.
Morgana was quickly hired to be a model, by Fleur De Lis. Fleur quickly found out that Morgana didn't even speak Ponish, let alone know what a model was. She took Morgana under her wing and taught her to be a badass fashion queen. Morgana now speaks perfect Ponish and is the assistant manager to her and her husband's fashion and modelling business. Morgana is known in Canterlot to be a fierce, sexy, fashion queen. Fleur and Fancy love her to death and she is one of the most powerful assistants in Equestria.

Relationships:

Medusa: She dislikes her mother to put it lightly. Her mother never really was there and it was because of her destructive past and Morgana just accepted that she was never going to be a healthy part of her life. She doesn't ever plan on seeing her mother again. Especially since she's a stone statue.

Gorgades: Her step-father was abusive to her, to say the least. Morgana knew that and she didn't appreciate it once bit. He didn't ever want her, her mother, or her aunts around and cast her and her mother out of the kingdom. Oh, and his own son.

Takshaka: Morgana never really got to know her younger brother. She just let him go off with Celestia and didn't really care what happened to him.

Stheno and Euryale: She loved her aunts when she got to see them. Seeing as they were goddesses she hopes to go and see them in her home kingdom once more. She's sure that her step-sister rules there now though. They were so caring and kind toward her and encouraged that she grow into a kind and wonderful mare. She told her that she didn't have to be her mother, that she didn't have to live in her shadow. They made Morgana into the mare she is today.

Mythsis: Morgana doesn't want a relationship with the current queen of Gorgania.

Mage Meadowbrook: Another great pony in her life, the first pony in her life. Meadowbrook doted on the young gorgony and she felt that she was a mother figure to Morgana. Morgana got her cutie mark with Meadowbrook and Meadow was so proud of her apprentice. Starswirl forced Meadow to push her away though. Morgana won't ever forget that.

Starswirl: Hates the man. Took away her mentor from her and she wishes he would fall into a hole or something.

Fleur De Lis: She loves her boss and best friend. She can never thank Fleur enough for what she has done for her.

Fancy Pants: She enjoys her best friends husband, he's kind to her.

Mon Cheri and Magnifique: Fleur and Fancy Pants kids, she's okay with them. They get into a lot of trouble and Mon Cheri got fired from her modeling position in her mother's company. That's hard to do.
