We did a secret santa in my journalism class and this was my gift for the girl who absolutely loves wolves and art (and really likes my art) so i really tried to make it look cool!

I probably should've toned down the red a little bit but oh well. The idea was that this was a big, red, solid porcelain statue someone installed near two huge oaks ages ago, but it came to life in certain circumstances and even fought, receiving "wounds" in its flesh that show up only as deep gouges in the stone when dormant. When alive, the red color of its stone drains through the shattering surface of its glassy "skin" and what is left is a huge, resilient white wolf.
I was originally just going to have the wolf coming alive on its own, but thought having an older girl with skinned knees and a sad expression would better illustrate a story of some sort.
