Too many birds in this gosh dang town. We got four named bird characters already. No more birds.
Elena (or Mamá Elena, as most of Bravery refers to her) runs the Oricorio Saloon! She’s originally from islands across the sea, but came to the west coast (beyond Bravery) for work. She was a traveling dancer in her younger days, but liked the folks in Bravery best, so she came there when she retired and opened up her saloon!
Annie is Elena’s adopted daughter. She traveled with Elena for a while, and picked up the fiddle along the way. Annie also tried working as a Ranger after moving to Bravery, but found that that rough life wasn’t for her, and mostly entertains and helps out her Mamá in the saloon.
yall knew I had to put a Torchic in here somewhere. Torchic is my favorite Pokemon.

That is true! I just feel like there are so many pokemon and I need a good variety, plus I wanna portray some species that are t so commonly seen in other PMD comics

Hawk, I must say that these characters are on point!
I mean, they sure are pokemon and they have already a pre-stablished tone, but I must say, that they certainly transmit a certain vibe of saloon realaxation.
As if you where a weary traveler, got to the end of the day and felt that feeling of "man, I have walked enough for today. Now let's have some warm meal and go to bed".

yes!! I think it's more interesting to go against a certain Pokemon's tone, as you said. Like here for Elena, I actually see at least Balie Style Oricorio as having a stuck-up and pretentious kind of feel to them, but Elena is kind and motherly. And of course there's the whole thing of a canon Torchic not having the arm articulation to be able to play a fiddle. But yes, they do very much have a relaxing saloon vibe to both of them!
