I liked your photo as soon as I glimpsed it. There's a simplicity to it. A leave or two plus a muted background equals a pretty picture. The leave is beautifully photographed with the contrasting leaves side by side, couple that with the blurred leaves in the background and it gives the photo some wonderful depth of field. The blurred background is soft and warm adding to the feeling of a wonderful spring day.
Overall I think you have a wonderful photo here that I couldn't imagine improving upon. Keep up the terrific work and have a wonderful day.

I think this photo is perfect, and believe me, I always find something to complain about. The colors are soft and almost velvet like, the macro proportions are well distributed so that the leaves are not perfectly in the center of the photo. What I think is the real amazing thing of the piece is the fact that the leaves really look like a green butterfly ready to start flying. Also the leaves have a so peculiar color, half red mixed with this soft green, that really is reassuring and relaxing. Congrats!

I like how you placed the bough in the photo. But for me the background is too dark. Because the sprouts also aren't so bright the complete picture is too dark. If the sprouts would be a little bit more brighter it would be perfect.
But what is really good is that the focus lies on the sprouts and that they're so sharp. And that the background don't divert into the view.
Maybe you pay more attention to the light the next time, but apart from that is the picture great!
I don't know why but I'm get hungry looking at this picture, the sprouts looks so juicy. ^^

Lighting - Seem very good, I love the sun shining through.
Model - Nature is always a very gratefull model. To be honnest I myself have a lot of problems to pass on a nice natural shot
Positioning/Framing - Is good, but for me the is just to much bokeh and not enough subject. In your first snow and winter spray this is less of a problem as it is entertaining.
Shutter Speed - ?
My opinion:
This is technically well done. Considering your other work you are experimenting with the technique. Remember not to look at a picture like a wallpaper, a picture should tell a story and not be eyecandy for your desktop. Also please if you request comments, post the picture exif data. Its very important for a good critique.
