Description Continuing my model of a human in Blockbench. I've made humans before, so the body is EZ. Just haven't had much time to work on it between sleep and work. I like the somewhat chibi look I'm getting. I want him to be low poly, but not toooo boxy. So far, I think I have a good balance.

I am confused about how to UV properly in here. As you can see, my eye texture's faces are kinda like a jigsaw puzzle. On the model it's fine of course, but for editing purposes it'd be best for them to display properly on the texture too. I'll probably have to remake the whole texture (which isn't a problem at this stage lol) but I wish I knew why it unwrapped like that in the first place. I saw a speedmodelling video where the artist somehow made her UVs herself, and the face unwrapped as one piece. I have no idea how to do it... tried the seam tool, couldn't really get anything from it. Maybe I wasn't using it correctly? If anyone knows, help me out. Lol.

Actually, it just occurred to me that she might've split the mesh (so removed the face's polygons) and THEN made the texture. That way, it'd be just the face. But then there's still the issue of it appearing properly unwrapped on the texture itself... ahhhh. 3D is such a can of worms. I vastly prefer 2D. You draw it? Done. Anything at all, if you can depict it, there it is. 3D? Prepare to do all sorts of sorcery to deform your model in just the right way. Polygonbros... did we get too cocky?
