Finished Rowan's class change screen animation today. I had it done for a while but just needed to shade it.

I've finally gotten over my contempt of animating. It's been a bit of an uphill battle and I'm still getting there (back in the day I could do 200 frames in one day, now doing 8 takes me forever lol) but at the very least it's enjoyable for me. You may (and by may, I mean MAY in all capital letters) get a brief glimpse of the opening animation by the end of the year. Maybe. I still have to make the music for it. But, after all this time I've finally figured out that I want my game's soundtrack to sound like Powerwolf + synthesizer. I think it makes sense to go with a Christian theme given that it happens in medieval times and religion plays such a large part in the story. And before you go "ughhhh how lame" go listen to Blessed and Possessed or Christ and Combat. Actual bops, those songs. I really hate how basic and sanitized today's Chrisitan music is compared to amazing hymns like Amazing Grace or How Great is Our God (you know, back when people writing were making the best music possible just to please God, not to sell 24 bajillion records) but that's a story for another day.

I've started painting Paladin Gavin's intro (which is my profile icon rn) and it looks awesome. I'll post when it's done.
