So recently I made a poll about which was better for me, a lineless or a lined style. I was surprised that lined won, though I guess it's because I've been doing it for so long that people like it better. A couple people said though, "Why not do both?" And I thought, "Yeah, why not?" So I drew this. It's another experimental piece I suppose. I got reminded of the song Cell Block Tango while browsing youtube as usual, so yeah, this is based off of that. I've gotta say, this is probably one of my spicier drawings. Don't think I'll do one again like this tbh.I like the way that Suzanne came out this time, at least she looks like a female haha. To really offset it, I put Ethan behind her so there's some contrast in that regard. But hey, tell me what you think about it. I tend to be blind to these sort of things.
Ok, I've got finals this week and next week, so this'll probably be the last thing I'll post for a bit. Honestly I shouldn't have even drawn this, it ate up some time lol. But I got inspired, what can you do?

Ah, the usual 3 am comment. Time differences are a lovely thing. But yeah, I'm glad you like it! I was a little worried how it would be received since it's so different from what I usually draw. And hey, I'm glad that Suzanne is looking better too! The fruits of my labor are starting to show

This is what I'd call Dark Magic For Ethan's first trick, he makes Suzanne disappear by wearing a blindfold hahaha. And who's skull is that? Did Suzanne lure someone to their demise? The red shade everywhere adds an air of tension, mystery and darkness. But she sure looks like a woman. Ethan better watch out - if you play with fire, you'll get burned

Thanks! I'm always a little hesitant to try new subject matters, so I'm glad this was well received. The skull might be from one of the villages that she looted with her pirate gang, sometimes they try and put up a fight.
