A stylistic sketch of an older Iskierka. I like her tail.AAAAAND, one of my favorite scenes from "Empire of Ivory", the young Khazilik getting all riled up over her talk with Jane Roland.
Iskierka's eyes went platter-wide, and she hissed from all her spikes like a furnace; in an instant she had thrown a pair of jealous coils around Granby, which bid fair to boil him like a lobster in steam.

I ADORE the facial expressions in this!!! Granby getting crushed by Iskierka's intense affection, it really made me laugh out loud and I really like how you drew Iskeirka's face, her eyes are super fierce and protective. You did a great job, this is wonderful!

Even though it was funny, I love how protective the dragons are of their humans

It's so funny and precious at the same time. And when they get captured and enemies use that against them, it's so sad. I wanted to cry when Laurence was arrested and Temeraire was freaking out.
It tugs at the heartstrings!!

You know, now I notice something, I think, that you heard that (sorry for my english xD)... Iskierka is name of this dragon in english, right? But it means "spark" in polish xD I'm from Poland, so I haven't noticed it ^^
