This piece is an excellent example of movement in a still frame. You can tell, Beyond a shadow of a doubt, that this Lucario is using extreamspeed. I also love the fact that he is crossing water. The splash demonstrates Lucario's power and speed. Also, Lucario's face reflects determination and confidence. You can tell that he is intent on finishing the task at hand.
The artist displays great control and precision, making sure not one detailed was out of place. I think it could have been more impactful, though.
But, overall, an excellent job. I hope you continue to improve upon your already remarkable abilities.

Haychel, as always, you have drawn our your Lucario (Leon) in an epic and bad-ass position. It's always a joy to see your Lucario in action but that's what really doesn't make it out of the ordinary.
Don't get me wrong, it's a very remarkable piece. You manage to make a lot work out in this photograph~! One mainly being how well you can draw a Lucario in full movement. It takes a lot of skill to draw a Lucario to look like he's moving without moving in a photograph. I'll admit, the vision is very impressive.
Still, it's not too original but it pleases well enough. The impact isn't too dynamic but it works good enough to still be well loved by fans and accepted as a Haychel Masterpiece. Although I have seem more impressive works by you that this photograph pales to live up to. Still, well done.

A lovely piece Haychel! The flow and movement withing the work is lovely, and the skyscape in the background is beautiful and very complimentary to the movement of Leon.
Just a couple of things in this work slightly jolt the movement, Leon's outstretched leg is at a different angle from the rest of his body, his foot should be angled a little more in line with his other leg, otherwise it looks like his leg is taking him in a different direction!
The other comment is about the water, it looks a little flat compared to the rest of the picture which is popping with colour and movement. Below where Leon's foot kicks up a spray it seems a little simple and murky, and doesn't complement the rest of the picture so well, perhaps this is due to the lack of perspective or horizon?
Overall however, I think the work is really lovely, I especially love the way Leon's yellow fur jumps out from the cool colours, it's a very effective piece e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

Highly stylised and very imaginative, though the water could do with some work. I like how you coordinated the colour palette to really make the sky and Lucario's fur pop. Lucario sunsets tend to use a tried and true red/gold scheme but it's original to see cool blues, pinks and purples employed. The sky is soothing and well rendered.
Besides that, it's very fun to see an image of Lucario "jesusing." A problem I encounter with pictures of Lucario running is that they feature either very blah white backgrounds or poorly made forest backgrounds. Water is a first with Lucario, and in that sense, was executed brilliantly.
However, my biggest problem was also with the water. When using such a dark shade of blue you have to carefully balance it out with the pastels chosen for the sky, but the unclear perspective with the water doesn't clarify where the water's view ends or really even begins. Light would have rectified this, but was only used on the splash, drawing a weird comparison between both elements of the same body of water, making it appear static instead of fluid.

Is Leon a grey Lucario? I have an OC like that.

Dude, this is epic. I like the movement. The running on water gag is also super funny!
The background: = amazingly epic. So epic I can't even begin to describe it.
The forward leg is a bit awkward, however. And the random water color changes are the only real weird things I see on this.

Pretty sweet use of the shades of purple ! But how do you want a complete critique when you put Leon in there ? Too distracting. :c
