In universe 4266, that universe's deadpool, Gwen Poole, just finished offing some gangsters at a pool party. After she finishes her mission, she decides to relax in the pool since her target is definitely not going to be using it anymore. As she sips her pink lemonade, her mind wanders and she remembers her past.

in this universe, Gwen Poole is a failed clone of Gwen Stacy. She was born without Stacy's memories and refused to be Warren's stepford wife, making her the object of the mad scientist's frustrations. She was tortured, experimented on and revived over and over again, leaving her with stitches and scars throughout her body. Whether by being revived so often by the unstable molecules that Warren would use on her or having a hidden mutant gene finally awaken, the ends of Gwen's hair turned pink and she was able to regenerate back to health instantly. Sadly, the scars she got before she developed her powers still remain. She also seemed to have some enhanced strength and agility too.

With these new abilities, she escaped Warren and started a new life. Both her chosen civilian name "Gwen Poole" and merc name "Deadpool" were inspired by a pit that Warren would dispose of failed clones that had turned to mush right after birth. She was later found by Weapon X and trained to be an assassin before leaving to become a freelance mercenary.

I changed up some of her scars a little to resemble the stitches you'd find on an old doll. Warren saw her as nothing more than an object and plaything, so it's very fitting.
