Well, if you go into the group section onto deviantart, they've got practically billions of groups! (Mostly I just type in a topic and join with the ones who have the most followers) But if you look onto my profile, you'll see that I'm part of a couple of photography groups, (Just be sure that when you join them, you unwatch their photography, and only keep an eye out for their newsfeeds and whatnot, otherwise you might get a really full inbox!)
